POCATELLO TRAP CLUB NEWSLETTER

Greetings Trapshooters!  We are well into another trap season and I’d like to thank you for all of your support and help last season.  I hope that your support will continue.

We have had a decent turn out for our first three registered shoots of the 2009 season.  The dates for our next registered shoots are as followings:  The State Shoot is May 22-25, June 20-21 (Silver Buckle Shoot), July 11-12 and August 13-16 (Gun Shoot).  Hope to see all of you for these shoots.

The General Membership meeting was held March 8.  Randy Adams, Gary Cahoon, Debbie Ferrel and Rich Greeson retained their seats on the Board. Please help us welcome Roland Ruby back to the Board and as well as our newest Board member, Tracy Dursteler. Randy Adams was re-elected President, Tracy Dursteler Vice President, Debbie Ferrel Secretary and Larry Ford Treasurer.

The SRTA League is over and the shoot was in Twin Falls this past weekend.  Our Rookie, Mike Walker came away with his share of trophies.  Congratulations to all who shot and won in Twin Falls.

Spring League will begin April 29 which will be our first Wednesday opening of 2009.  The league will be shot the same as last year unless members feel changes should be made.  Any suggestions are always welcome.  Teams are a five person squad.  Each shooter needs to pay $50.00 and team sponsor fee is $35.00.  You can only shoot a week ahead and a week behind.  Please be certain to read the rest of the rules posted in the clubhouse.  Anyone is welcome to shoot this league so come out and join the fun.

We will hold our annual spring cleaning May 16^th.  Please plan on coming out and helping to get the clubhouse and grounds into shape for the State Shoot.  After the work is over we will have a BBQ, so bring a dish to share and club will furnish the burgers and brauts.
